to engage their minds,
and to acquire an awareness of responsible stewardship for our planet
."

Ebersole Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.  The official registered name of the foundation is "VERNON D EBERSOLE ENVIRONMENTAL EDU & CONF CENTER FOUNDATION"
3400 2ND St
Wayland, MI 49348.

Ebersole Foundation...  began in 2003 as a non-profit charitable organization focused on supporting and assisting Ebersole Center in its mission.

The foundation works at raising funds to help defer expenses for urban children to visit Ebersole Center, for capital improvements for Ebersole Center, and to protect the Ebersole Center from urban sprawl.

In February, 2009, Ebersole Foundation completed an ambitious $600,000 capital campaign to complete the purchase of an adjacent property!

Current Goals...

Now that the farm property has been paid for, the foundation is turning its attention towards raising funds to help with:

  • student scholarships
  • endowments
  • capital campaigns to assist with daily center operations.

So please, whether you've donated in the past or have never made a donation, consider making a gift today so that we can continue to offer the best Environmental Education Opportunities to Michigan children!

Donate through Network for Good How you can help...  we are looking for supporters who believe in our mission of "linking kids and the environment" and who are willing to assist in a variety of ways.  Direct financial support is the most crucial since we are a "new foundation" with a volunteer staff and board and are trying to develop an endowment to become self supporting:

  • Join the Ebersole Foundation Facebook "Cause" page and encourage others to join you in supporting Ebersole.  Online donations can also be processed through our cause page!

Ebersole Foundation- Field of Dreams

Thank You...  to all of our supporters over these past five years we've done it!
Foundation HandshakeTogether, we've raised almost $600,000 and were able to purchase the former Stora Farm on the western edge of Ebersole Center property!  The final piece of the farm puzzle was completed at the Ebersole Foundation Fundraiser Auction on February 28, 2009!  Thank you to everyone who attended the fundraiser, donated items, bid on items and made donations!

Thanks to you, we were able to complete the final payment on the farm property!
